| Some of the surviving grandchildren of Baltis L. Kemp gathered again for reunion, this time hosted by Frank and Jane Kemp Frey. Due to a dramatic spurt in communications between more distant Kemp relatives, the reunion was graciously opened up to several more descendants of Nathaniel L. Kemp (1774-1856). Over the weekend, the many activities included an informative, up-close-and-personal presentation by Jane Frey on Harriet Ann Clunch Kemp, her great-grandmother. |

| Many brought materials, including Penny Kemp Stafford & husband Dale who brought various documents, and the author, knowing most of those who would attend, created a Kemp family tree which included nearly all present, illustrating our complex relationships. Jane also brought artifacts of Baltis Kemp, including a quilt and an advertisement from his Adamsville store. I also brought in two large books containing printouts of the entire contents of the then W.C. Kemp Family Website. |

I had to leave after the first day, but it was decided that we genealogists and family members would form the 'Nathan Kemp Network' for the purposes of pooling together and disseminating information about our common Kemp ancestry, via the expansion of my W.C. Kemp website into www.NathanKempNetwork.org of which this page is a part.
Those who I know attended were Frank and Jane Kemp Frey of Nashville, TN; Kemp and Shirley Swiney of Anderson, SC; Tom, Hamdy and George Kemp of Berea, KY; Bob and Kristel Wilkins of Adamsville, TN; Dale and Penny Kemp Stafford of Little Rock, ARK; Shirley Swiney Huffman.
Jane emailed me to mention others who came on the second day, including: Mary Qualls-Cushing (child of Fred Kemp and grandchild of Baltis), Julie and Arielle Pollack (Mary's daughter and granddaughter), Billy and Punchie Kemp (my brother, son of Lillian and grandson of Baltis), Phillip and Mary Ann Kemp (Billy's son and daughter-in-law), Amanda Kemp and Jonathan Kemp (Phillip's children and Billy's grandchildren, 4th generation from Baltis), Ron and Laura Waggoner (my daughter and son-in-law) and her grandson Nathan Waggoner (4th generation from Baltis).
